Exclusive: Jack Savoretti Video Blog And Download

He introduces us to his new album 'Harder Than Easy'...

Gigwise has hooked with half English, half Italian singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti to bring you a triple header of exclusives about his plans for his second album, the follow up to 2007's 'Between The Minds', which is due out this summer.

The first exclusive is the details of the album itself, which will be called 'Harder Than Easy' and is set for release on July 6th. As a taster of the new material Jack has kindly given us a free download of the track 'Him And Her' to give to all our readers. You can download the track by clicking HERE.

The latest full-length album from British troubadour Jack Savoretti, Harder Than Easy, will be released digitally in the U.S. on September 15th via De Angelis Records. Savorettis music has been described as having a raw, soulful, yearning edge (Daily Telegraph) and Burn Magazine notes Not since Simon & Garfunkel has a gifted songwriter captured the fragility of the human condition so eloquently.

At just 25 years old, Jack Savoretti is something special: strikingly handsome, his sinuous, emotive voice synthesizes with his fluid, inventive guitar playing such that you can hardly tell where one begins and the other ends.

A few standout tracks from Harder Than Easy and earlier in Savorettis career have been heard on various television shows and films; One Day appears on the Post Grad film soundtrack, and Wonder will be featured on an upcoming episode of One Tree Hill, airing September 21st on the CW. I checked out that link because I want to pre-order the album but didn't. I had the feeling that was for mp3 downloads because I want to have the hard copy do you know if there's a place to download the hard copy?

Thanks for the info & welcome.  I was thinking; I don't think I can wait for the hard copy and I just may have to buy the iTunes version bc I've been waiting for some time for his sophomore album. I'll just wait till Tuesday and see if the itunes version includes the digi booklet bc some albums do that. Knowing me I'll end up buying both versions bc I do that with some of my fave artist bc sometimes I just have to have that album instantly.

february 2010 for the cd? it seems it only gets postponed more and more. I love russian roulette and map of the world, I really hope it does come out at this date so I can listen to the rest of the album!

well Ive listen to it and I really like it only I find it a bit too country style sometimes (too much time in the US for jack I suppose lol). Plus I was really hoping to find Rosalin and lucy on it :) But I still like it it's just that I prefer when he plays stripped (no pun I swear) like in the unplugged album.
